Event: TRAC 4th Annual Vis Pre-Moot

Dear MAA members,

 
The Tehran Regional Arbitration Centre (TRAC) would like to invite academics and practitioners to participate as arbitrators in its 4th Vis pre-moot, which it organizes annually.
 
This year, the TRAC 4th Vis pre-moot will take place virtually on March 9 and 10, 2021, with more than forty participating teams from all over the world. The pre-moot brings together #arbitration academics and practitioners around the world, along with participating teams from more than 20 countries.
 
The event will open on March 8 with a seminar featuring Dr. Oveis Rezvanian (Director of TRAC), Dr. Hamid GHARAVI (President of TRAC International Board), Prof. Ronald A. Brand (University of Pittsburgh School of Law) and Prof. Patricia Shaughnessy (Member of TRAC international board).
 
To accomplish this diverse and universal event, the TRAC Vis Moot Committee is currently looking for esteemed practitioners/academics to participate as arbitrators. Event: 11th Annal Middle East eVis Pre-Moot

Dear MAA members,
 
The 11th Annual Middle East eVis Pre-Moot is currently accepting registrations from arbirators to participate in the pre-moot happening from 22 to 26 February 2021.

Diversity Scholarship Fund

Dear MAA Members,

The AAA-ICDR Foundation has established a Diversity Scholarship Fund, which was made possible through a special gift by the American Arbitration Association.

The fund grants diverse law students/professionals with up to US$ 2,000 of financial assistance towards participation in a degree program or fellowship in alternative dispute resolution or attendance at a well-recognized conference. The mission of the Diversity Scholarship Fund is to encourage diversity and inclusion within the field of ADR by supporting the pursuit of knowledge and skill development through training experiences that encourage inclusive leadership growth in the field of ADR.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed quarterly until appropriated funds are expended. Please click the link for the application and instructions

5th AIAC Pre-Moot

Dear MAA members,

We are proud to support the 5th AIAC Virtual Pre-Moot that will take place on 5-7 March 2021.
