Mentor-Mentee Team

The Mentor-Mentee Team organises and oversees the MAA Mentor-Mentee Programme, connecting students and young professionals with experienced academics and practitioners in international arbitration and trade law.

With one-to-one pairings between a mentor and a mentee, the MAA Mentor-Mentee Programme offers mentees the opportunity to receive guidance and support from experienced mentors, as they begin to develop their careers. The MAA Mentor-Mentee Programme aims to be inclusive and diverse, involving participants from a wide variety of countries, profiles, and professional backgrounds.

The programme also aims to provide opportunities for group interactions, through Fireside Chats with mentors or in-person meetings during the Vis Moot.

Applications for each year’s Mentor-Mentee Programme open in July/August, while the programme takes place from October to April. To be eligible for the programme, mentees should be MAA members and law students, recent graduates of a degree in law or young professionals with less than five years of post-qualified experience.

The Mentor-Mentee Team can be contacted at [email protected].
