Conferences & Events Team

The Conferences & Events Team is responsible for organising the MAA’s conferences and webinars as well as professional social and networking events.

Each year, the Conferences & Events Team organises the MAA’s established in-person Generations in Arbitration Conferences and the Peter Schlechtriem CISG Conference, which gather distinguished speakers to discuss current topics in international arbitration and trade law, usually inspired by the Vis Moot Problem.

The team also offers online events such as the Vis Moot Journey webinar series, which guides each new generation of mooties through their Vis Moot experience, and the Speaker Series, which spotlights experts in international arbitration and trade law.

Lastly, the Conferences & Events team coordinates the MAA’s social and networking events during the Vis East and Vis Moot, including the MAA Welcome and Farewell Parties and the Moot Bar in Hong Kong and Vienna.
