Dear MAA Members,

The Executive Board of the MAA refers to the official Notice for the Extraordinary General Meeting (“EGM”), dated 23 April 2025.

The EGM will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on Thursday, 5 June 2025, 14:00 – 16:30 (CEST / Vienna Time).

The virtual meeting details are provided in the attached Notice for the EGM.

As already announced, the purpose of the EGM, in accordance with the discussions and resolutions taken at the recent MAA Annual General Meeting (“2025 AGM”) held on 13 April 2025, is to elect additional members to the 2025/2026 MAA Executive Board. MAA members may nominate themselves as candidates for election to the 2025/2026 Executive Board up until the election at the EGM.

According to Article 9(4) of the MAA’s Articles of Association, the Executive Board has made amendments to the agenda for the EGM, which can be found in the attached amended Notice.

The following documents are enclosed:

● Amended Notice for the EGM;
● Proxy Letter for Members who are unable to attend but wish to exercise their voting rights;
● GDPR form for Members who wish to attend the EGM;
● CVs of candidates for additional positions to the 2025/2026 Executive Board received as of 29 May 2025 and of Member appointed to replace resigning Vice President; and
● Minutes of the 2025 AGM.
